VNUK students earned Aston University degrees through International Joint Training Program
04/08/2025
Three students from the University of Danang – VN-UK Institute for Research and Executive Education (UD-VNUK) have recently graduated from Aston University, United Kingdom, through an international joint-training program (3+1 pathway).

Bao Thach, Thien An and Bao Ngoc completed their final year at Aston University, one of the UK’s top 30 universities according to The Guardian 2024 rankings. Their achievement highlights the effectiveness of VNUK’s academic model, which encourages active, independent study and offers students the opportunity to transfer abroad for the final stage of their undergraduate education.

VNUK’s “Inspiring Bridge” mission has led to strategic partnerships with leading institutions worldwide, including Aston University, Heriot-Watt University and the University of Hull in the UK; Monash University in Australia; and CESINE University in Spain. These collaborations provide VNUK students with diverse international transfer options.
The joint-training programs at VNUK allow students to complete one to three years in Vietnam before transferring overseas, following models such as 1+3, 2+2 or 3+1. This approach reduces the overall cost of studying abroad by 50 – 70 percent while maintaining access to internationally accredited, English-taught curricula in a global academic environment.

All VNUK programs involved in these partnerships are internationally recognized and accredited, ensuring smooth credit transfer and eligibility for further study. Students also benefit from the guidance of dedicated academic advisors and a supportive alumni network, many of whom have themselves studied and succeeded at renowned universities worldwide.
VNUK hopes that these recent graduates will inspire more students to pursue academic excellence and global citizenship, further strengthening the institute’s commitment to fostering international opportunities for Vietnamese students.
