The University of Danang - University of Science and Education (UD-UED) is strengthening its international engagement through a series of academic, language, and cultural exchange activities.

As part of the Erasmus+ program, UD-UED recently hosted a delegation from Babeș-Bolyai University in Romania, led by Dr. Daniel Andronache and Dr. Daniela Dumulescu from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences.

The visit provided a platform for faculty members and students from both institutions to share expertise, discuss potential research collaborations, and explore new opportunities for international partnership in education and scientific research.

Discussions focused on enhancing academic cooperation between the two institutions, including plans to formalize partnership agreements, expand faculty exchanges, and share innovative teaching methodologies. Both sides emphasized the importance of long-term collaboration to support academic excellence and cultural understanding.

Between September 15 and 25, UD-UED welcomed student delegations from Thailand, including the Demonstration School of Udon Thani Rajabhat University and Nawamintrachinuthit Benjamarachalai School.

Thai students participated in academic exchanges and cultural activities, including tours of state-of-the-art laboratories in physics, chemistry, biology, agriculture, and environmental science. They also attended introductory Vietnamese language classes and engaged in cultural interactions with Vietnamese students through group activities and traditional games.

On September 24, UD-UED received a group of 15 Lao students enrolled in a Vietnamese Preparatory Program, supported by a bilateral scholarship agreement between the governments of Vietnam and Laos.

During the 2025–2026 academic year, these students will undertake intensive Vietnamese language training, cultural immersion, career orientation, and skills development. Upon completion, they will sit for a Vietnamese proficiency assessment—a prerequisite for further undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Vietnam.

Through these initiatives, UD-UED continues to foster international cooperation, cultural exchange, and academic innovation, reinforcing its commitment to global education standards.
