UD-UED enhances cooperation with educational institutions in Guizhou, China

On September 15, 2025, representatives from the leadership of  The University of Danang - University of Science and Education (UD-UED) attended the ASEAN-China Education Cooperation Week and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Guiyang University of Humanities and Technology in Guizhou, China.

According to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Vice Rector of  UD-UED, the university has been implementing cooperation agreements with universities in Guizhou, with a focus on exchanging lecturers and students for joint training and transfer programs.

UED's active participation in the ASEAN-China Education Cooperation Week not only contributes to and demonstrates the role of Vietnamese higher education integration, but also enhances opportunities for cooperation in training, scientific research, and cultural exchange between UED and universities in Guizhou.

Based on the signed MOU, UD-UED and Guiyang University of Humanities and Technology will concentrate on implementing short-term student exchange programs (3+1), especially for language and culture majors, promoting the policy of bringing Vietnamese language and culture to the world.

At Guizhou Minzu University, the delegation from UD-UED also worked with the university’s  leadership to outline cooperation under a 3 + 1 + 1 framework and other initiatives: exchange, internships, and language/culture experience programs, short-term student exchanges (one semester), and summer language camps for students.

The leadership of Guizhou Minzu University highly praised UD-UED's reputation and academic standing, noting that it has become a destination for international student exchange activities. They also thanked UD-UED for accepting Chinese exchange students into the 3+1 program and gladly accepted an invitation to attend the 50th-anniversary celebration of UD-UED.
