UD-DUT signed agreement on postgraduate training and research cooperation with University of Technology of Troyes, France

On June 3rd, 2025, University of Science and Technology (DUT) - the University of Danang (UD) has signed a framework agreement with University of Technology of Troyes (UTT), France, to enhance cooperation in postgraduate education and scientific research from 2025 to 2030. The agreement was formalized during a ceremony attended by senior leaders from both institutions. 

According to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Huu Hieu - Rector of UD-DUT, the partnership represents a significant milestone in the long-standing relationship between the two universities and paves the way for sustainable collaboration in advanced training and research.

Under the new framework, both universities will establish and develop joint research groups, with the goal of creating specialized collaborative research units. The agreement also encourages joint participation in international research and innovation projects, as well as the expansion of academic exchange programs, joint degree offerings, and co-supervision of doctoral dissertations.

The spirit of this agreement is to promote open, equitable cooperation, leveraging the strengths and potential of both sides for mutual development.

In recent years, the partnership has already produced tangible results. Since 2022, the two universities have co-founded an international research group involving active participation from faculty, researchers, and doctoral candidates from both institutions. They have also co-organized the annual FVTech – Future Technology international workshop series from 2020 to 2023.

The two universities have also collaborated in editing scholarly books and international academic publications, such as "Connected Innovation and Technology X.0" and a special issue in the journal "Supply Chain Analytics." Additionally, they have jointly supervised doctoral candidates who have successfully defended their dissertations.
