The University of Danang - University of Foreign Language Studies (UD-UFLS) hosted a working session and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cooperation with the Department of Education and Sports of Champasak Province, Laos.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Văn Long, Rector of UD-UFLS, this event marks an important milestone that will help strengthen collaboration in training high-quality human resources for Laos, promote the internationalization of education, and actively contribute to the special friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Viet Nam and Laos.

Dr. Phouvong APHAI, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Sports of Champasak Province, stated that the provincial leaders highly value the educational cooperation between the Department and UD-UFLS, considering it an opportunity to meet the learning and research needs of students, so they can return to build their homeland and country afterward.

Expressing hope and confidence that the cooperation contents will be effectively implemented by both sides, the representative of the leadership of the Department of Education and Sports of Champasak Province shared the desire for more practical activities in the future to contribute to the increasingly extensive development of Vietnam-Laos educational cooperation.

According to the signed MOU, UD - UFLS will coordinate with the Lao side to implement a Vietnamese Language Preparatory Program for students from Champasak province. The University will also offer a scholarship policy to create more opportunities for Lao students to study at UD.
