On September 26, 2025, University of Science and Technology (DUT) – the University of Danang (UD) signed an agreement to join the Network of Training Centers of Excellence and Talent in the field of renewable energy and hydrogen.

This demonstrates the pioneering role in leading the development of a high-quality human resource training system in the fields of Industry 4.0, implementing Decision 374/QD-TTg.

This is a new milestone with significant breakthroughs in implementing the policies and resolutions of the Party and State on developing university education and science and technology, especially in the fields of renewable energy and hydrogen for sustainable development.

This network was formed to develop high-quality human resources, promote green transformation training and research, and contribute to realizing Vietnam's commitment to the Net-zero target by 2050.

Previously, within the framework of the implementation of MOU between UD-DUT and PetroVietnam - BSR, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Dinh Lam - Chairman of the University Council, an expert in Petroleum Technology and Oil Exploitation, provided in-depth training for the core staff and engineers of Dung Quat Oil Refinery.

This not only provides advanced knowledge and orientation for innovative thinking focusing on preventing and minimizing metal corrosion in oil refinery projects and projects, but also contributes to initiating activities connecting the classroom with practice, demonstrating the social responsibility of intellectuals to the national key energy industry.
