University of Foreign Language Studies - UD signed MOA with Chung Ang University, the Republic of Korea

On June 20, 2025, University of Foreign Language Studies​ (UFLS) - The University of Danang (UD) and Chung Ang University, the Republic of Korea signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), focusing primarily on the KF Global E-school Program.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Long, Rector of UD-UFLS, highlighted the university’s tradition and mission in education, research, and the dissemination of linguistic and cultural knowledge. 

He also emphasized that Korean language and culture are fields with significant potential, particularly as Vietnam and South Korea continue to develop their comprehensive strategic partnership.

Since 2011, UD-UFLS and Chung Ang University have collaborated on the KF E-learning Program. Over nearly 15 years of collaboration, the program has created valuable opportunities for faculty and especially for hundreds of students from the Department of Korean Language and Culture. 

Participants have been able to improve their Korean language skills, access modern teaching and learning methods, and contribute to strengthening cultural exchange and friendship between the two countries.

Professor Lee Seung Joo, Director of the KF Global E-school Program at Chung Ang University, recognized UD-UFLS as a leading institution in Vietnam for the study and research of international languages and cultures, particularly Korean language and culture.

Expressing his pleasure at the renewed partnership, the Chung Ang University representative noted that the new MOA not only marks a milestone in the close cooperation between the two universities, but also opens up more opportunities for faculty and student exchanges. 

Under the terms of the MOA, the two universities will continue to strengthen their cooperation, focusing on joint educational and research projects. 

The agreement will facilitate increased faculty and student exchanges and cultural activities, with the aim of building a sustainable future for both institutions.
