On July 3rd, 2025, University of Science and Education - The University of Danang (UD-UED) celebrated the completion of its 2024–2025 Vietnamese Language Preparatory Program on July 3, awarding certificates to 110 international students.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Vice Rector of UD-UED, emphasized the significance of the program as a strong linguistic and cultural foundation for international students. This program not only equips students with essential language skills but also promotes Vietnamese culture and strengthens international cooperation in education.

With over 25 years of experience in training international students, UD-UED has established itself as a leading institution for Vietnamese language education. To date, it has trained more than 2,000 students from abroad, contributing highly skilled graduates to partner countries and serving as a bridge for Vietnam-Laos relations.

Mr. Khanthaly Khamphilavong, Consul and Head of the Culture and Education Department at the Lao Consulate General in Danang, praised the university as a trusted destination for Lao students, particularly those from the central and southern provinces of Laos.

On this occasion, representatives from the Lao Consulate General in Danang, as well as partners such as the Service Center for Da Nang Foreign Affairs, expressed their appreciation and gratitude to UD-UED for its active role in training and developing Vietnamese language skills for international students and foreigners. This is regarded as both a strategic and a people-to-people diplomatic approach, contributing not only to enhancing the university’s reputation and influence but also that of Danang city on the international stage.

The 2024–2025 academic year saw a growing number of international students enrolling in the preparatory program. University officials highlighted the institution’s increasingly multicultural learning environment, which offers a variety of academic and cultural experiences for students from around the world.
