Recently, an increasing number of students from member universities of the University of Da Nang (UD) have been given the opportunity to conduct professional internships and engage in cultural exchange programs at partner universities abroad.
A prime example is UD - UFLS, which recently organized a program for 22 students to conduct professional internships and academic-cultural exchanges at Thammasat University in Bangkok, Thailand, from April 19 to May 17, 2026.

According to university representatives, overseas internships provide students with valuable opportunities to apply their professional knowledge in practice while honing their language proficiency, cultural understanding and developing a global integration mindset.
Many students were placed directly within the International Relations Office of the partner university in Bangkok. This academic experience helped students understand professional workflows, adapt to international working environments, and build effective teamwork skills in a multicultural setting.

A highlight of the program was the "Vietnamese Language and Culture Camp," where UFLS students participated in cultural exchanges and introduced Vietnamese traditions to high school students in Thailand.
Additionally, students took on roles as teaching assistants for Vietnamese language classes for Thai students. This not only honed their pedagogical skills but also served as an opportunity to promote the country, culture, and language of Vietnam to the international community.

Previously, Nguyen Duc Toan, a student from the Faculty of Physics and Chemistry at the University of Science and Education (UED) - UD, was honored to be selected for a research internship at the EMS Lab (Electronic Materials Spectroscopy Laboratory) at Soongsil University in Seoul, South Korea. According to the student, this was a precious opportunity to access and utilize modern equipment following the professional research protocols of the partner university.

With the foundational knowledge and skills accumulated at UED, Toan proactively followed the guidance of Soongsil University professors to implement research tasks. Furthermore, participating in academic exchanges and seminars in an international environment has inspired innovation, helping students gain the experience and confidence needed on their journey to mastering knowledge.
