According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Tien Dung, Vice Rector of the University, with the University’s strong tradition in training and research, the MoU will help both sides:

Develop training programs that integrate theory and practice; support equipment provision and technology transfer; organize training courses and  grant certificates for students, engineers, and lecturers.

Mr. Chul Park, Chief Executive Officer of DAUM Engineering, shared that the upcoming cooperation between DAUM and the University will be aligned with the KOICA IBS project titled “Construction of Infrastructure Maintenance Platform and Capacity Strengthening for Engineers in Vietnam” (2024–2028), which focuses on developing an infrastructure maintenance platform and enhancing engineers’ capacity in Vietnam.

The project is expected to contribute to the formation of a training–technology–practice ecosystem, thereby gradually promoting digital transformation in the transportation sector.

Under the signed MoU, UD-DUT and DAUM Engineering will jointly develop human resources and practical capacity to support digital transformation in bridge maintenance in Vietnam, including the development and application of digital platforms for bridge maintenance.

In addition, DAUM Engineering will provide high-quality training programs and free certification for students, engineers, and lecturers, while also promoting cooperation in international collaborative projects. This will create more opportunities for students and lecturers to access advanced technologies and enhance professional competence in an international environment.
