On May 19, the University of Danang (UD) held the MOU signing ceremony with Afterfit Company (Japan). There was the attendance of the UD’s Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son, Mr. Makiguchi Morio – Director of Afterfit Vietnam, Ms. Dao Thi Hai Ninh – Head of Project Development Department, Afterfit Vietnam, leader representatives of the UD’s Department of International Cooperation, Department of Student Affairs, Center for Risk Management and Safety Sciences.

At the ceremony, the UD’s Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son welcomed and highly appreciated the MOU signing between the two sides, considering this as the premise for a sustainable, long-term cooperation, bringing about mutual benefits and strengthening linkages in training and human resources development.

According to Mr. Makiguchi Morio – Director of Afterfit Vietnam, the company was grateful and honored to sign the cooperation agreement with the UD, thereby hoping to bring practical benefits to the UD students.

According to the leader representative of the UD’s Department of Student Affairs, one of the UD’s focuses is to strengthen connection and cooperation with businesses, thereby actively supporting students to improve their professional skills and expertise, increasing job opportunities in the domestic and foreign labour market, especially in Japan where has a large demand for human resources.

The main content of the signed MOU is that the UD’s member universities/affiliated units will create favourable conditions to promote, introduce training programs as well as job recruitment opportunities for the UD’s students, especially ones majoring in the fields of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
