The University of Danang signed a cooperation agreement with Ad-Sol Nissin Corporation, Japan

On September 14, 2023, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Quang Son - Vice President of the University of Danang (UD) and Mr. Shinozaki Toshiaki - General Director of Ad-Sol Nissin Corporation, Japan, co-chaired the meeting and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreement between the two sides.

Also attending were Mr. Takahashi Kazushi – Director of Asia Region and Heads of departments (Energy, Planning - Business) of Ad-Sol Nissin Group; Mr. Le Duy Linh - General Director of Techzen Company Limited, Vietnam; Representatives of functional departments (Academic Affairs, Science Technology and Environment, International Cooperation) and UD’s Software Development Center.

Speaking to partners, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Quang Son – Vice President of UD introduced the overview of UD, and also appreciated the significance of the two sides signing the MOU, thereby strengthening cooperation in training, scientific research and creating more opportunities for practice, internships and scholarships for UD students.

Through cooperation with reputable businesses such as Ad-Sol Nissin Corporation, students of UD can access and experience new knowledge and technology to be ready to meet the requirements of the regional and international labor market. In addition, cooperation between university and businesses also contributes to promoting innovation, developing research capacity and applying it into practice, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Quang Son emphasized.

According to Mr. Shinozaki Toshiaki - General Director of Ad-Sol Nissin Corporation, Japan, the Corporation currently has more than 1,200 engineers working, focusing on the field of information technology (IT), software development to bring convenience in management and life.

With more than 40 years of operation, Ad-Sol Nissin Corporation has extensive relationships with many domestic and foreign universities; receiving many generations of Vietnamese students to practice and work in Japan. Ad-Sol Nissin Corporation representative Mr. Shinozaki Toshiaki shared that they hope and believe that through the signed MOU, the two sides can train more excellent IT engineers, actively contributing to cultivating the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Japan.

At the meeting, representatives of leaders of units of Ad-Sol Nissin Corporation and functional departments of UD expressed their joy and proposed more ideas and solutions to advise and promote the implementation of these orientation and content of cooperation of the leaders of the two sides in the coming time.

According to the MOU signed between UD and Ad-Sol Nissin Corporation, Japan, the two sides will implement cooperation content such as: Academic exchange, job opportunities dissemination for students; supporting visits and working exchanges of professors, researchers and staff; Implementing internship programs and supporting scholarships for students.

The two sides would cooperate in research; coordinate to organize scientific conferences and seminars, apply and transfer technology; exchange of publications, educational/research and academic promotional materials. The Japanese partner would sponsor for training and career orientation courses to help UD students approach Japanese business culture.

On this occasion, UD-Software Development Center signed an Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Ad-Sol Nissin Corporation to implement a detailed agreement on cooperation in Japanese language training activities and supporting students/internships at enterprises in the IT field; cooperation in applied research and technology transfer; coordinate to organize seminars and workshops for academic and technological exchange; promote the brand names of both sides.
