Speaking at the signing ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Quang Son - Vice President of UD has recognized and highly appreciated the role and prestige of GMIT in particular, and the quality of advanced education of the Republic of Ireland in general, considering this as a good opportunity for cooperation development in training and scientific research between the two sides in the context of globalization.
The Vice President of UD expressed outstanding information and similarities between UD and GMIT of which the two sides shared the orientation and strategy to promote cooperation in scientific research and innovation for sustainable development.

Vice President Le Quang Son emphasized the key contents for cooperation between UD and GMIT in the exchange of lecturers and students, joint research cooperation, and participation in major international projects on innovation aiming to serve the community's interests, adapting to the context of Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control.
Dr. Orla Flynn – President of GMIT highly appreciated the international reputation of UD as a leading key regional university in Vietnam, which currently has extensive cooperation relationships with many partners in Europe, including the Republic of Ireland.

President of the GMIT shared on GMIT's Innovation Hubs therewith the two sides would have many opportunities to promote their potentials to promote innovation cooperation in line with their respective needs, national development strategy of which UD is one of the top priority partners in Asia.
President of the GMIT expressed her pleasure to cooperate with UD, and affirmed the GMIT’s willingness to share its experiences in innovation, prioritizing support and development of businesses towards the long-term benefits, making effective contributions to each country and community.
