Strengthening international connections creates opportunities for lecturers and students to share academic knowledge in training and research

Recently, member universities of the University of Danang (UD) such as the UD - University of Economics and UD - University of Science and Education have had positive activities in early 2025, thereby connecting internationally to create opportunities for lecturers and students to share academic knowledge in training and research.

The specialized faculties (Finance, Banking) of UD - University of Economics recently had a working session with Dr. Ariel Viale, Palm Beach Atlantic University, USA, an expert of the Fulbright Scholar Program.

According to Dr. Ariel Viale, promoting research cooperation in dynamic and strongly developing economic sectors and fields in Asia in general, Vietnam and Da Nang city in particular is a need and trend that requires increased connection between universities, groups of experts and lecturers.

Accessing and sharing highly reliable international academic databases is the basis for scientists and lecturers of similar universities to promote their strengths in scientific research cooperation and improve the quality of international publications in prestigious journals.

According to Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dang Tung Lam, Dean of the Faculty of Finance, the Faculty is promoting the contents to implement the cooperation plan to invite prestigious experts from partner universities such as Dr. Ariel Viale to participate as speakers in academic seminars with lecturers, students, and trainees of related majors.

Prof. Kilian Raschel - Research Director of the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) and University of Angers has just given a lecture on “Persistent Probability for Autoregressive Processes” to students of the Faculty of Mathematics. This is an opportunity that comes from the university connecting with experts during the time working with the Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM) in Vietnam, choosing UD - University of Science and Education as the destination for academic exchange activities, inspiring students in Mathematics.
