Connecting cooperation to develop potential in training and technical-technological research

On August 30, 2024, The University of Danang - University of Technology and Education (UD-UTE) held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony with Teuku Umar University (Indonesia) and Saveetha School of Engineering under Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (India).

According to Assoc.Prof.Dr. Phan Cao Tho – Rector of UD-UTE, with similar strengths in training and research in science, engineering and technology, the signing of cooperation agreements with Teuku Umar University (Indonesia) and Saveetha School of Engineering under the Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (India) were expected to open up opportunities for sustainable development, thereby improving the quality of training and scientific research.

According to the signed MOU, the parties would establish a cooperative relationship focusing on implementing international training joint programs, promoting lecturer and student exchanges (mainly short-term), and co-organizing international conferences and seminars.

and KandH MFG.Co., Ltd

 

Previously (August 28, 2024), UD-UTE also signed an MOU with enterprises including: TECOTEC Group Joint Stock Company (Vietnam) and KandH MFG Co., Ltd (Taiwan, China).

These are capable enterprises operating in the semiconductor microchip field such as TECOTEC Group in collaboration with KandH MFG Company to deploy comprehensive solutions for training and research including training programs to design software, IC simulation, production, packaging and testing; providing technical and technological equipment for education and training, vocational education.

Cooperating with universities and businesses in the field of engineering and technology

to contribute to improving the quality of human resource training

 

UD-UTE has been promoting the enhancement of staff, facilities and necessary conditions to meet the training requirements of the Semiconductor Circuit Design major, which has just enrolled the first class in 2024. UD-UTE hopes that cooperation with businesses will create a good learning and research environment for students, especially for the Semiconductor Circuit major, said Rector Phan Cao Tho.

According to the content of the MOU just signed, the parties would share information on needs, potentials, and capabilities; thereby coordinating in order to deploy systematic solutions, exploit Microwind software to support IC design, improve the capacity of lecturers, provide semiconductor microchip human resources, and meet the requirements of the domestic and international labor market.
