Le Xuan Khoa, an alumnus student of the University of Danang - University of Science and Technology (UD-DUT) has just successfully defended his PhD thesis in the field of Energy and Construction at the Center for Sustainable Technology, University Ulster (United Kingdom).
Another good news is that Dr. Le Xuan Khoa will be honored to work and research at the Department of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford (United Kingdom).

Le Xuan Khoa graduated with a Master's degree
at the National Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences
Graduated as an engineer majoring in Mechatronics of UD-DUT (class of 2005), Le Xuan Khoa shared that: “After being admitted to UD-DUT, I began to neglect my studies, I got many subjects with low marks, even fail and I had to re-study to the point of being warned that there was a risk of having to stop studying. “With the spirit of not giving up even though it took many months to determine the research topic to propose to the professor, I found a direction for scientific research and was fortunate to successfully defend my PhD thesis and was awarded the best doctoral thesis in the School of Architecture, Built Environment and Planning at Ulster University with the research topic of energy efficiency in construction works”, Khoa shared. Along with that was the award for the best scientific report at the University's scientific conference, published two Q1 articles in the top prestigious journals in the field of energy.
After becoming a PhD, Le Xuan Khoa continued to strive to officially be a Postdoc researcher at the prestigious University of Oxford. Khoa said that his intention is to pursue in-depth research on energy in construction works to have the opportunity to return to his home country in order to actualize his desire to provide efficient and sustainable energy solutions for the construction in Vietnam.
