Notably, from the 2018-2019 school year, UD-UE had implemented tourism training according to a specific mechanism. This was a first step being in line with the project "Developing human resources for key economic sectors of the city" according to Plan No. 2809/KH-UBND dated on April 29th, 2020 of Danang People's Committee. Tourism development charter

According to Assoc. Dr. Le Van Huy, UD-UE’s Vice Rector, in the coming time, Covid-19 would continue to affect socio-economic development as well as slow down the economic growth rate. Therefore, in order that the tourism returned to the "runway", accounting for 20% of the Gross regional domestic product as set out in the target, the city needed to innovate the growth model, increase the resilience of the economy by releasing policies of green growth and circular economy, towards the sustainable development. In particular, it would be necessary to pay more attention to promote the prestige of Da Nang for sustainably brand positioning, attracting investors and promoting to the world.
