On April 24, 2024, The University of Danang – University of Science and Education (UD-UED) organized a Ceremony of announcing the Decision and awarding Certificates for 09 program accrediation that reached the quality according to domestic standards. The accredited training programs included 03 master training programs and 06 undergraduate ones.

Attending the event were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son – Vice President of UD; Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien, Director of CEQA-VU, Hanoi; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Van Minh - Rector of UD-UED; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luu Trang - Former Rector of UD-UED; Representatives of leaders of relevant departments of UD; Representatives of the Party Committee, Rectorate boards, School Council and offices, faculties, and centers of UD-UED.

Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien, Director of CEQA-VU, Hanoi shared her ideas

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien - Director of CEQA-VU, Hanoi, highly appreciated UD-UED as the first educational institution in the country to be accredited and meet the national education quality standards and is currently at the top of Vietnamese universities that have many accredited training programs that meet domestic and international quality standards.

This was a clear and convincing demonstration of pioneering, social responsibility, and commitment to learners and stakeholders in implementing quality assurance, one of the core elements for higher education institutions for sustainable development.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Van Minh – Rector of UD-UED, this result continued to be a milestone affirming the efforts of UD-UED; At the same time, it was a new beginning in a new stage of development of UD-UED. Rector Vo Van Minh also gave special thanks to the leaders of UD and CEQA-VU, Hanoi for their support, direction, and accompaniment with UD-UED in the mission of education and training. UD-UED’s Rector expressed his desire to continue to receive valuable attention and support; as well as encourage UD-UED’s staff, and lecturers to continue to make efforts and strive harder to carry out the mission, affirming its academic reputation and lofty educational values.

Testing results were recognized by the external assessment team of CEQA-VNU, Hanoi

03 Master training programs recognized to meet domestic quality standards included Calculus Mathematics, Theory and teaching methods of Physics and Education (Elementary School) and 06 university training programs met national standards including Biology Pedagogy, Informatics Pedagogy, Vietnamese Studies, Journalism, Chemistry, Geography.

These training programs were objectively accredited according to the regulations and criteria of the Ministry of Education and Training and were highly appreciated by reputable experts of the external evaluation team.

UD-UED is always a pioneer in quality assurance for the goal of sustainable development.

Up to now, UD-UED has 23 training programs (03 Master training programs and 20 undergraduate training programs) meeting domestic education quality standards, reaching nearly 70% of the State's university-level training programs. UD-UED has completed the accreditation and has been recognized as meeting the quality standards of a second cycle of higher education institutions, positively contributing to the mark and outstanding results in the mission of quality assurance and accreditation in education of UD.
