2. Energy Monitoring and Data Management
All systems are equipped with digital energy meters and an online data management platform that automatically records:
- Renewable electricity generated (kWh/year)
- Share of total campus energy use (%)
- CO₂ emissions avoided (tons/year)
- Cost savings from renewable energy use
Annual data reports are used by DUT’s Facility and Energy Management Unit to plan and evaluate the university’s transition toward carbon neutrality by 2045.

3. Integration into Research and Education
- Solar energy data are incorporated into undergraduate and postgraduate courses on renewable energy, electrical engineering, and sustainable development.
- The systems are also used for student research projects on solar performance and energy efficiency.
4. Expansion within The University of Danang
The University of Danang - University of Technology and Education (UD-UTE) has also installed solar-powered streetlights across its campus to promote energy conservation and reduce carbon emissions.
