Employment practice unions 2024 Employment practice unions The UD trade union (https://congdoan.udn.vn/) operates strongly, representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers. In 2024, UD had 2,652 union members out of a total of 2,697 officials and employees, reaching a rate of 98.56%. Union Participation Rate Gender Structure in Union Notably, 55.66% of union members are female (1,476/2,652), showing that the role and voice of female workers are always promoted in the organization. Vietnam Trade Union’s Charter Vietnamese employees who are paid employees and foreign employees working in Vietnam under labor contracts with a term of at least 12 months have the right to voluntarily join the Vietnam Trade Union.
