UFLS-UD strengthens cooperation with universities and institutes in the Russian Federation

On May 22, 2026, leaders from the University of Da Nang - University of Foreign Language Studies (UD-UFLS) attended the 3rd Vietnam-Russia Rectors' Forum. During the event, the University signed cooperation agreements with several prominent Russian institutions: Far Eastern Federal University, Pacific National University and the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Long, Rector of UD-UFLS, the University consistently prioritizes the expansion of external relations, the enhancement of training quality, and the development of academic programs with global connectivity.

Highly valuing the event as a forum for educational cooperation between Vietnam and the Russian Federation-nations with a long-standing tradition of friendship and a comprehensive strategic partnership-the leadership of UD-UFLS stated that these signing ceremonies represent a strategic milestone. This direction aims to: create more opportunities for both faculty and students; Drive the development of international joint-training programs; Strengthen the bond between the University and its Russian partner institutes and universities.

According to the Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) signed between UD-UFLS and the Russian universities and institutes, in the coming time, the parties will promote cooperation in developing international joint training programs,  including those specializing in the Russian language;  Strengthening exchange programs for both faculty and students; Inviting specialists to participate in teaching, scientific research, and academic knowledge sharing across the partner institutions. This partnership serves as a vital opportunity to expand international learning spaces and practical experiences for students, aligning with the trends of globalization and the ongoing internationalization of higher education across Asia and Europe.
