On 17/10/2025, at The University of Danang (UD), JFE Steel Corporation Scholarship (Japan) Orientation Session took place.

Attending the event were Associate Professor Dr. Le Thanh Bac - Vice President of UD; Mr. Kazuya Yamazaki - Assistant Director JFE Steel Research Laboratory; Dr. Hiroumi Shimokawa - General Manager, Civil & Infrastructure Engineering Research Dept., JFE Steel Research Laboratory; Atsushi Watanabe - General Director of JFE Steel Vietnam and UD’s students. 

According to Associate Professor Dr. Le Thanh Bac - Vice President of UD, UD has always focused on connecting the school with businesses, including JFE Steel Corporation. 

This cooperation aims to train high-quality human resources, serve production and business activities, improve the quality of human resources and fulfill the mission of serving the community, the country and the world.

UD hopes that JFE Steel Corporation will continue to accompany and support the school, contributing to improving the quality of training and enhancing the international integration capacity of learners.

During 12 years of cooperation, UD has always respected and appreciated the good meaning of JFE Corporation in supporting students through scholarships.

This is not only a great incentive but also a source of encouragement for students to continue to strive to study, research and develop themselves.

According to the representative of JFE, from 2013 to now, JFE Steel Corporation has awarded scholarships to 107 excellent students studying construction engineering and Japanese. In addition, the Corporation also provides financial support for students to study Japanese.

The representative of the Corporation hopes that students of UD will be a bridge for the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Japan, contributing to tightening the cooperation between Vietnam and Japan more and more firmly.
