UD-University of Technology and Education attended the international conference on “Mastering Energy Supply focusing on Isolated Areas” (MESfIA-2022)

Recently, the University of Danang - University of Technology and Education (UD - UTE) attended the International Conference on Mastering Energy Supply Focusing on Isolated Areas (MESfIA-2022).
Besides scientific activities, this was also an opportunity for leaders of UD-UTE to attend and actively contribute as a key member, preparing to summarize the MESfIA Project at the end of June, 2022.

Speaking at the opening session, Prof. Dr. Antonios Tsikalakis- Hellenic Mediterranean University, Greece, a coordinator of the MESfIA Project, highlighted the significance of this international conference to create a forum for exchanging academic information and publishing research results on issues related to energy, environment and climate change for the goal of sustainable development.

UD’s scientists (Prof. Dr. Sc Bui Van Ga, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Cao Tho, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Trung Hung, Dr. Ho Tran Anh Ngoc) participated in 03 scientific reports with practical significance topics on solutions for the Solar-Biomass integrated energy system; solution for high- qualified human resources development in the field of renewable energy; report on the implementation evaluation of the MESfIA project at UD-UTE.

At the conference, the participants discussed, shared practical experiences and proposed solutions on new policies and technologies in the energy field, especially renewable energy to meet the Vietnamese sustainable development needs.
According to Prof. Dr. Sivanappan Kumar, Asian Institute of Technology, a coordinator of the Project, “UD-UTE is an active nucleus, connecting the partner universities network of the MESfIA Project, thereby contributing to improve the human resource quality training for the sustainable energy development in the future”.
