UD-UFLS signs MOU with Kwangshin University, South Korea

On August 10, 2026, University of Foreign Language Studies, The University of Danang (UFLS), held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding with Kwangshin University, South Korea, at its reception room. The event marked a significant development in the partnership between the two universities, while opening up further opportunities for study, academic exchange and international development for lecturers and students.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Long, UFLS’s Rector, emphasized that amid the increasingly extensive and substantive development of Vietnam–South Korea relations, along with the growing demand for Korean language learning and a deeper understanding of Korean culture, strengthening cooperation between the two universities carries significant practical importance. He noted that the partnership would not only create opportunities for sharing resources and training experience, but also contribute to fostering an international learning environment, enabling students to enhance their professional competence and adaptability in the context of global integration.

Under the Memorandum of Understanding, the two sides will prioritize the promotion of student exchange, training cooperation, scientific research, and faculty exchange, gradually developing practical cooperation activities aligned with the strengths and needs of each institution. Notably, UFLS’s students will have additional opportunities to study Korean at Kwangshin University, participate in short-term training programs, experience Korean culture, and engage with Korean students.

The signing ceremony laid the foundation for the implementation of concrete cooperation programs between the two universities. It also contributed to strengthening Vietnam-South Korea educational cooperation, while reaffirming UFLS’s commitment to promoting the internationalization of education, expanding its global partner network, and enhancing the quality of training and scientific research.
