UD - UED Strengthens Student Exchange Cooperation with Chinese Institutions

On November 14, 2025, the University of Danang – University of Science and Education (UD - UED) held a series of working sessions and signed cooperation agreements with Yunnan Normal University, Guizhou Minzu University, and Guiyang Institute of Humanities and Technology, all from China.

According to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Vice Rector of the University, this is a strategic direction for UD - UED in promoting the internationalization of higher education, with a focus on increasing the intake of international students and expanding student exchange opportunities with Chinese institutions.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed with Yunnan Normal University, both parties will enhance academic exchange, scientific research collaboration, and high-quality human resource training. The agreement includes organizing student exchange programs, mutual credit recognition for undergraduate and postgraduate training, including summer programs, as well as jointly hosting scientific seminars and conferences.

According to the MOU signed with Guizhou Minzu University, UD - UED will cooperate in exchanging faculty and students, especially supporting academic exploration, exchange visits, and joint research activities. Both sides will coordinate the implementation of internship programs and joint undergraduate and postgraduate training, co-organize seminars, workshops, and exchange specialized learning materials and publications.
UD - UED also signed an MOA with Guiyang Institute of Humanities and Technology, under which both parties will organize short-term student exchange programs. They will select students, support application and visa procedures, and create opportunities for international and local students to engage in academic exchange and cultural experiences.
