On May 22, 2026, within the framework of the 3rd Vietnam–Russian Federation Rectors’ Forum, the leadership of the University of Danang - University of Science and Education (UD-UED) held meetings with partners and signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Pacific National University and Baikal State University of the Russian Federation.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Van Minh, Rector of UD-UED, the University places great emphasis on expanding its international cooperation network, including partnerships with prestigious Russian universities, especially in the fields of social sciences, humanities, culture, and education, which share many common strengths with UD-UED.

Highly appreciating the academic reputation of the partner universities, the leadership of UD-UED stated that the signing of cooperation agreements with the two national universities of the Russian Federation clearly demonstrates the University’s proactive role in the internationalization of higher education, thereby contributing positively to strengthening the strategic partnership between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

Under the signed MoUs, UD-UED and its Russian partners will enhance cooperation to improve the quality of education and scientific research, while creating more opportunities for lecturers and students to engage in academic exchanges and gain access to international educational environments.

In addition, the universities will focus on promoting STEM education and fundamental sciences, digital transformation, postgraduate training cooperation, and interdisciplinary research. These are areas in which both the partner institutions and UD-UED possess strong potential and advantages, meeting the demands for expanded cooperation in the new era.
