From November 24 to November 28, 2025, School of Medicine and Pharmacy (SMP) - The University of Da Nang (UD) collaborated with Otemae University (Japan) to organize the “Global Nursing Internship Program III”.

According to Dr. Le Viet Nho - Rector of UD-SMP, this activity is part of the cooperation framework between the two universities, aiming to enhance the quality of training and create opportunities for Nursing students to exchange, interact, and learn international experience from Japanese lecturers and students.

During the program, students from Otemae University (Japan) participated in various professional activities and cultural exchanges.

The students had the opportunity to study at UD-SMP, experienced clinical practice at Da Nang Hospital, conducted community healthcare practice at Hoang Anh Kindergarten, and notably, engaged in cultural exchange with students from UD-SMP

These activities helped the students better understand the training model and the healthcare system in Vietnam, while strengthening academic exchange between the two sides.

The “Global Nursing Internship Program III” concluded with many positive impressions, contributing to further strengthening the international cooperation relationship between UD-SMP and Otemae University.

This also serves as an important foundation for both sides to continue expanding student and lecturer exchange activities as well as  training cooperation in the future.
