UD-DUT organizes the opening session for postgraduate training course, converts credits from engineering training program to master's training program

On September 13, 2025, University of Science and Technology (DUT) - The University of Danang (UD) opened and disseminated the regulations for the first batch of postgraduate training in 2025 for 05 doctoral students and 124 graduate students. 

According to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Hong Hai, Vice Rector of UD-DUT, this postgraduate training course has a high input quality, ensuring the target of showing improvement in the strategy of continuously improving the quality of postgraduate training of UD-DUT. 

This is also the basis for the university to discover, train and select excellent cores to meet the requirements of supplementing the source of highly qualified lecturers, contributing more human resources to scientific research activities in the face of new context requirements. 

In 2025, UD-DUT will implement many support policies for students, such as: Postgraduate students majoring in Mathematics and Science and Technology are supported by the Bank with loans to cover tuition and living expenses.

Accordingly, the Specialized Engineering course has 180 recognized graduation credits and converts learning outcomes from the Engineering training program to the Master's training program with the number of exemptions up to 30 credits, accounting for 50% of the training program volume. 

Therefore, students can shorten the training time from 2 years to 1 year. The courses that are considered and exempted from credit recognition will not be subject to tuition fees.
