On August 24, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Thanh Viet, Lecturer of Electrical Engineering Faculty - University of Science and Technology cum Director of the Educational Quality Assurance - the University of Danang (UD), along with his research team members, including General Director of the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) Ngo Tan Cu, have been honoured among the top 75 scientific works of the Vietnam Golden Book of Creativity 2020.

They have been honoured at a recent ceremony in Ha Noi which was hosted by the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations and the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The research topic of the authors is "Ways to improve the efficiency of the Fault Passage Indicator (FPI) in order to enhance the reliability of power supply for smart distribution grid in Danang". This is a high scientific and practical research project which was selected, reviewed and evaluated seriously, objectively and scientifically.

The honour awarded by the Vietnam Golden Book of Creativity 2020 helps to raise the prestige of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering - University of Science and Technology, and the UD as a whole.

The success of the UD's research team also shows the effectiveness and the right direction in linking training with scientific research and application in response to urgent requirements in practice.
