On July 22, The University of Danang - VNUK Institute for Research and Executive Education (UD-VNUK) solemnly held the 2023 University Graduation Ceremony. Attending this meaningful event, lecturers and students of UD-VNUK were honored to have the presence of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu - Member of the city Party Committee, President of The University of Danang (UD) with an important speech.

Also attending were Vice President of the Vietnamese Student Association of Da Nang City Dinh Ngoc Lam Dien; Representatives of the Office's leaders, relevant departments, high schools, businesses, partner organizations and all officials, lecturers, parents and new UD-VNUK graduates received the Diploma this time.

According to Dr. Nguyen Thi My Huong - Dean of UD-VNUK, this time the Graduation Ceremony has 56 new Bachelors in the Institute's undergraduate majors: International Business and Management, Computer Science and Engineering, and Science Biomedical.

In addition to completing the professional load of modules in the training program, new UD-VNUK Bachelors have made efforts and had the opportunity to experience, cultivate and develop practical capacity through practice and internship periods at the enterprises (right from the early years); develop foreign language skills, information technology and soft skills.

Many UD-VNUK students participated in international student exchange programs, helping new graduates become more confident, brave and equipped to participate, adapt quickly, and integrate with the domestic and international labor market globally, UD-VNUK leadership representative said.

Speaking to congratulate and share joy with the new Bachelors, their families and staff and lecturers of UD-VNUK, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu – President of UD emphasized that "This is not only an important event for UD-VNUK but also a happy day, a big festival for parents and new graduates successfully completing a difficult learning journey, but also full of memories of the most beautiful youth in the university classroom."

Today, new graduates "reap good fruits, become future owners of the country, and have the right to be completely proud of studying and training at UD-VNUK, a training affiliated unit  of UD, thanks to that you can benefit from facilities and a team of good lecturers from other UD’s member universities."

UD-VNUK students have access to advanced degrees in a dynamic, creative, friendly and exciting learning environment with their own style, focusing heavily on practicing practical skills and developing modern thinking with very good English skills is "a solid foundation for students to become global citizens in the future".

Many former UD-VNUK students (from the first graduating class of 2020) have had the honor of continuing to study at many prestigious universities in the world, "affirming their capacity and solid position in organizations, domestic and foreign businesses".

UD President Nguyen Ngoc Vu reminded and expected new UD-VNUK Bachelors to be confident with the knowledge they have learned, confidently step into life, strive to realize their dreams and ambitions, "have the willpower, stand up after every fall, live responsibly with yourself, your family and society" as Jack Ma, CEO of the famous Alibaba Company once shared: "Life is not easy, nothing is free" to enter life with a new start on the path of self-determination and career.

Entering a new stage of development of the country, facing the urgent need for high-quality human resources for the cause of Industrialization and Modernization of the country, Resolution No. 26/NQ-TW of the Politburo has affirmed the determination of the policy of "Developing UD into a National University", the President of UD wished and requested that staff, lecturers and students of UD-VNUK continue to promote the achieved results and the spirit of innovation with high determination to overcome difficulties and challenges, strive to develop UD-VNUK to become a VN-UK University under UD, contributing to successfully implementing the strategic development goals of UD during the period new.

The President of UD requested the UD-VNUK leaders, lecturers and officials of UD-VNUK to "promote collective strength, work together, be unanimous, try harder, be more creative" in innovation university administration in a modern and professional direction; innovate content, programs and teaching methods, increase practice and internships with businesses to improve practical knowledge and soft skills for students; focus on developing a team of lecturers, visiting lecturers, and collaborators, especially attract good experts and experienced lecturers from member universities of UD as well as international partner universities to continue to improve the quality of training and scientific research, "truly becoming a reliable address in training high-quality human resources in the context of international integration".

On this occasion, UD-VNUK honored and rewarded 03 outstanding new bachelors who were valedictorians of their majors, graduated with excellence, and honored to receive scholarships from UD-VNUK and international partners during their studies.

Representatives of entrepreneurs who are partners of UD-VNUK, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh - co-founder and CEO of Alpha Asimov Robotics exchanged and shared many experiences with new Bachelors and students towards solid success in the future.
