On the morning of February 1, 2024, The University of Danang-University of Science and Technology (UD-DUT) held the inauguration ceremony of the UD-DUT Maker Innovation Space, and the IC Design Lab sponsored by enterprises to enhance facilities and utilities to improve the quality of training and scientific research for students.

UD-DUT Maker Innovation Space was mainly sponsored by Da Nang Fujikin Co., Ltd., put into planning from August 2023, and officially put into use to serve the strategy of “Innovation - Start-up" for UD-DUT’s lecturers, and students in February 2024.

The IC Design Lab was equipped with equipment and a computer system by UD-DUT and its partners (Fujikin Da Nang, FPT Software, Renesas, Cadence, Unitec), ready for specialized training in Microelectronics - Circuit Design this year, as well as also be used to open short-term training courses on Semiconductor physical design. This course is expected to open at the end of February 2024 to train students in related fields on IC Design.
