According to Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu - Vice Rector of UD-UED, this was a cooperation program between UD-UED and Yunnan Normal University (China), according to which graduate students will experience specialized courses and extracurricular activities at UD-UED.

The content of the 7+1 exchange program at UD-UED includes 04 subjects of Vietnamese language, Vietnamese history and culture, along with cultural exchange activities, learning about the Mid-Autumn Festival and Opening Art Program, having sightseeing and experiences at Son Tra peninsula, Linh Ung Pagoda, Da Nang Museum and Asia Park...

Through this program, graduate students from China will be able to improve their Vietnamese language skills, understand and experience Vietnamese culture, and apply their training knowledge in practice. They are also the "ambassadors" who contribute to connecting the friendship bridge between Vietnam and China, contributing to spreading the image and reputation of UD-UED to friends, students and relatives in China, the representative of UD-UED’s leadership shared.

Representing the students who completed the training program, student Ly Kien Van expressed his joy and honor to have the opportunity to study and research at UD-UED.

Although the training duration was not long, the impressions and results, especially the close affection and companionship of the Vietnamese lecturers and students of UD-UED for the Chinese students, will remain in each graduate student of Yunnan Normal University about a dynamic and creative academic environment.

The 7+1 (for graduate) and 3+1 (for undergraduate) student exchange programs signed with Yunnan Normal University and Guizhou Minzu University, China, create opportunities for international students to study and research, especially the opportunity to improve Vietnamese language and culture. This is truly one of the positive and effective directions of UD-UED in the context and process of integration and internationalization of university education.
