From December 26^th to December 30^th, 2022, the University of Danang – University of Foreign Language Studies (UD-UFLS) completed the external evaluation for 04 training programs in accordance with National Quality Standards. (Circular 04/2016/TT-BGDĐT of the Ministry of Education and Training) including French Language, Chinese Language, Japanese Language and Korean Language.

Educational Quality Accreditation Council and Director of Center for Education Accreditation - Vietnam National University, Hanoi (CEA-VNU, Hanoi) signed the Minutes of completing the external evaluation

This external assessment was conducted by experts from CEA-VNU, Hanoi with a full set of procedural, objective, scientific and professional steps.

The external evaluation team had checked the documents and evidences; carried out actual survey of management, teaching-studying and scientific research activities; assessed the potential of facilities and staff related to quality assurance for training programs; collected comments of stakeholders such as: administrators, lecturers, learners, alumni, employers...

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Van Toan - Chairman of Education Accreditation Council, CEA-VNU, Hanoi, UD-UFLS carefully prepared and fully met the requirements for the External Assessment. The records, evidences and evaluation activities were conducted objectively, scientifically and honestly in compliance with regulations. UD-UFLS had made great efforts in quality assurance, focusing on improving training programs to meet the needs of learners, stakeholders in the context of integration and globalization.

At the Closing Ceremony, experts from the External Evaluation Team reported a preliminary assessment of UD-UFLS’s 04 training programs, thereby identifying strengths as well as pointing out several limitations and shortcomings, thereby giving recommendations so that UD-UFLS would have effective solutions to promote strengths and advantages to constantly improve the training quality.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Huu Phuc, Rector UD-UFLS said that the university always invested adequately and paid attention to training, designing,  developing, reviewing, updating and adjusting training programs,  to meet the needs of learners and stakeholders.

With the completion of the external for four training programs of UD-ULIS, the University had more facilities to continue focusing on improving the training quality and scientific research.

In 2022, UD-UFLS is one of three member universities of UD (along with UD- University of Economics and UD-University of Science and Education) to complete the accreditation and is recognized to meet the educational institutions quality standards according to the domestic standard (2^nd cycle).

Up to now, UD-UFLS has had 03 training programs, including English Language, International Studies and English Language Teaching, which have completed the accreditation, meeting the international quality standards (AUN-QA, Southeast Asia).
