In 2024, the University of Danang (UD) continues to be a reliable destination for many prestigious events and scientific conferences, connecting and bringing together numerous scientists, managers, and experts. The emphasis on connectivity is shown through proactive efforts to enhance ties with localities, businesses, and the community, promoting international cooperation and integration. This is the solid foundation for UD in 2024, aiming for outstanding results in 2025, with a sustainable development goal.

In the past year, professional and respectable international events and conferences have contributed to expanding the network with influential international partners and organizations. Thanks to signing and implementing various cooperation agreements, many opportunities have been created for faculty and students to enhance academic exchanges, and joint research, share experience in university governance and sustainable development, and elevate the reputation and international standing of UD.

UD has held a conference to enhance international student exchanges, focusing not only on attracting international students but also on implementing comprehensive and appropriate solutions to enable more UD students to study, do internships, and join in international exchange.

In addition to international cooperation, university-enterprises collaboration not only helps enhance resources and facilities for training and scientific research but also promotes innovative research, turning UD into a center for research, policy consultation, and contributing to regional and national development.

A highlight is that UD successfully organized the conference on "Connecting High-Quality Human Resource Training for the provinces of North Central and Central Coast regions according to Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW, where leaders, managers, experts, and entrepreneurs collaborated and supported the educational training mission.

From the central orientation of UD, UD’s member universities and affiliated units have carried out many practical and effective activities connecting with the business community, such as: signing and implementing various MOUs/MOAs; consulting experts to help develop and refine training programs; handling over and receiving equipment, practical classrooms, and new technology application centers/spaces; awarding scholarships to students; organizing job fairs, career counseling workshops, and startup seminars...

Collaborative research activities, the application and transfer of knowledge and technology, and the creation of innovative startup ecosystems have bridged the gap between classrooms and real-world practice.

With the determination to successfully implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW (dated December 22, 2024) of the Politburo regarding breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, UD will continue to connect with partners and the community in training, scientific research, and international cooperation, which are truly pillars for sustainable development in the new era.
