- Complete the planning of Vietnam National University, Danang.

- Establish the network of institutes, centers of research and technology transfer to solve national and regional problems.

- Promote the building and completion of advanced, smart, innovative university governance integrating with autonomous, self-responsible mechanism.

2. Develop the UD into the model of innovative and international integrating university

- Adjust appropriately the roadmap of training structure by levels.

- Innovate goals, curriculum and teaching method.

- Develop the resources of scientific research and innovation.

- Develop staff.

3. Promote educational quality assurance and accreditation at international standard

- Build, improve the quality of internal quality assurance system and governance system to meet the strategic goals.

- Improve and complete mechanisms in international cooperation.

5. Close and effective collaboration with businesses and enterprises

- Strongly develop connection with local authorities and enterprises in Danang and Central – Highlands region in human resource training.

- Promote academia – industry linkages to improve the employability of students.

6. Innovate university governance

- Complete the organizational structure in accordance with autonomous university governance model.

- Build university governance system.

- Facilitate internal relationships within the university system.

- Strengthen IT application and digital transformation.

- Innovate internal and external communication.

7. Develop capacity, modernize facilities

- Develop resources to serve research and education.

- Develop synchronous, modern facilities.

- Build laboratories and research centers.

- Complete dormitories system.

- Complete planning of the UD and member universities.

8. Complete the Vietnam University Development Project (VUDP), Subproject for Development of Technical Infrastructure and Essential Facilities for UD in Hoa Quy, Dien Ngoc on time

- 2021-2025 period: Focus on land clearance according to the plan; build technical infrastructure with medium-term public investment.

- 2026 – 2030 period: Complete detailed plan of Quang Nam part of the VUDP’s Subproject, build public investment plan.
