Recently, surpassing 11 student teams from Vietnamese universities and Arizona State University (USA), the Water-Ice student team of The University of Danang - University of Science and Technology (UD-DUT) has excellently won the first prize in the Global EPICS Innovation Showcase-2023.

The Water-Ice team of UD-DUT includes 04 members: Hoang Van Thang - Class 22ECE, Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology (FAST); Tran Nguyen Khanh - Class 21TDHCLC2, Faculty of Electrical Engineering; Mai Thi Hoai Thuong - Class 21H2, Faculty of Chemistry, and Phan Thi Thu Suong - Class 21KX, Faculty of Project Management.

At the Global EPICS Innovation Showcase-2023, each team has 06 minutes to present their Project and 04 minutes to answer questions from the Board of Judges.

The drinking water system using Nano filtration technology

for Duy Vinh Primary School (Quang Nam) is highly applicable and feasible

The topic of the Water-Ice Team is the project "Drinking water system design solution using Nano filtration technology for Duy Vinh primary school, Quang Nam". This is also the topic that won the first prize in the university-level EPICS Showcase (UD-DUT EPICS) held at the end of June 2023.

With the ability to present and introduce the Project in English fluently, answer questions convincingly and confidently, clearly express ideas and  surveys’results of actual needs, thereby introducing technical and technological design features of the product/project model, Water-Ice Team of UD-DUT excellently won the highest award of the contest.

Water-Ice Team's project is truly outstanding and convincing because of its technology, practical application feasibility, and potential for startup development and innovation.

The second prize goes to HCMUT-TEAM 5 Team (Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City) and the third prize goes to ASU - TEAM1 Team (Arizona State University, USA).
