Students from UD-DUT win Bronze Medal at the ICPC Asia Pacific Championship 2026

From March 5 to March 9, 2026, in Taiwan, China, the team BKDN.LoveBaku from the Faculty of Information Technology, The University of Danang - University of Science and Technology (UD-DUT) participated in the ICPC Asia Pacific Championship 2026 and proudly won a Bronze Medal.

The ICPC Asia Pacific Championship is the highest-level international contest in the Asia–Pacific region within the global ICPC programming competition system. The contest gathers top teams from universities that have advanced through the Regional rounds.
This year’s competition brought together 70 outstanding teams from across the Asia–Pacific region. Vietnam was represented by 19 teams from 10 universities, with a total of 56 contestants competing.

The BKDN.LoveBaku team consisted of three students from the Faculty of Information Technology: Vo Dac Bao An (Class 21TCLC_DT1), Nguyen Duc Nha, and Luu Duy Quang (both from Class 22T_KHDL). The team was guided by Dr. Pham Minh Tuan, a dedicated and experienced lecturer from the Faculty of Information Technology at UD-DUT.
After five hours of intense and challenging competition, BKDN.LoveBaku delivered an impressive performance, successfully solving six problems and securing a place among the top-performing teams to earn the Bronze Medal. This achievement is particularly noteworthy given the strong competition from leading universities across the region.

This accomplishment not only brings pride and motivation to the members of BKDN.LoveBaku for future international competitions but also affirms the international reputation and training quality of UD-DUT within Vietnam’s higher education system and the wider region.
