According to information from University of Foreign Language Studies (UFLS) - the University of Danang (UD), student Phi Hanh Nguyen (class 21SPA02) recently received exciting news, she has been awarded a full scholarship (worth nearly £60,000) to pursue a Postgraduate's program at the world-renowned Oxford University in the United Kingdom.

Phi Hanh Nguyen shared that she is excited and happy to have this valuable opportunity to continue her journey of acquiring knowledge in a postgraduate level focusing on Technology and Social Innovation at a university rich in tradition, consistently ranked among the world's most prestigious universities (holding the No. 1 position for many years on the THE - Times Higher Education rankings).

This achievement is a proud recognition of not only the student's personal efforts and honor but also serves as an inspiration for the 4.0 generation of students at UD, who always need aspiration, courage, and the necessary preparation to conquer milestones on the journey of education and science.

Besides the student's persistent efforts, UD-UFLS provides an environment that helps students learn, enrich their knowledge and specialized skills, and foster a passion for studying, researching, and creativity.

According to Hanh Nguyen, by participating in various Youth Union and Student Association activities (being a member of the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of UD, a member of the Executive Committee of the university's Youth Union, and honorably representing students in the University Council), she had the opportunity to gain experience, contribute, and mature, through activities such as  student scientific research, social activities with projects supporting disadvantaged children, and active participation in summer student volunteer campaigns.

With comprehensive achievements in both personal development and academics (achieving a GPA of 3.9/4.0, First Prize at the University-level Student Scientific Research Conference), Hanh Nguyen had the honor of being admitted to the Communist Party while still a student and achieved the "5-Good Student" title at the central level.

One of her personal experiences is to to set clear  goals and detailed plans to allocate time reasonably, with priorities, so Hanh Nguyen can successfully complete her studies, thesis, internship, and application portfolio. Sincerity and a sufficiently convincing aspiration, clearly demonstrating a desire to learn and contribute value to the community are the most important factors.

Dare to dream big and dare to believe in yourself. Study abroad scholarships are not just for the best students, but for those who are willing to step out of their comfort zone and continuously strive, Hanh Nguyen shared.

After striving to complete the Postgraduate's program at Oxford University, the student intends to continue developing the knowledge gained and implementing initiatives to innovate education, contributing her understanding to the community, as the country always needs educational development and global integration.
