Recently, Assoc. Dr. Le Quang Son – Vice President of the University of Danang (UD) received H. E. Mr. Yakabe Yoshinori – Consul General of Japan in Da Nang. The leader representatives of the UD’s Department of International Cooperation and Japan Center also attended the reception.

At the reception, Vice President of the UD Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son cordially sent the best wishes to Mr. Yakabe Yoshinori on the occasion of the establishment of the Japanese Consulate General in Da Nang city.

Speaking at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son said that the UD always attaches special importance to the long-term cooperation with Japanese universities, organizations, associations and enterprises. Through these cooperation activities, many staff, lecturers and students of the UD had opportunities to study and exchange in Japan.

The UD’s leader expressed the wish that the Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang will pay attention, support the UD in connection with more Japanese partners to strengthen cooperation in the fields of education, scientific research and exchange of lecturers and students.

For his part, Consul General Yakabe Yoshinori expressed his pleasure to visit the UD on the occasion of the establishment of the Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang, considering this as a sign of the respect of the Da Nang authorities for the deep strategic partnership between Vietnam and Japan.
