Leader of the University of Danang received the Vice Mayor of Mimasaka City (Japan)

On July 14, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son – Vice President of the University of Danang (UD) hosted a reception with the delegation from Mimasaka City (Japan) led by Vice Mayor Haruna Nobuaki.
Also attending were Mr. Tsunazawa Tomoya – Head of Economic and Planning Department – Mimasaka City, members of Vietnam – Japan Friendship Association of Mimasaka city. For the UD’s part, there were leader representatives of University of Foreign Languages – UD, Department of International Cooperation, Department of Student Affairs, Japan Center, Center for Learning Information Resources and Communication.

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son warmly welcomed the Vice Mayor and the delegation of Mimasaka city to visit and work with the UD.
The UD’s Vice President discussed with the Vice Mayor of Mimasaka city about the cooperation results since the two sides signed the MOU in 2015. Accordingly, the UD’s lecturers are supported in Japanese language training, while the UD’s students have more opportunities to do internship and work in Japan.
Expressing his joy and honor to visit the UD on the occasion of 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan, Mr. Haruna Nobuaki respectfully thanked the UD’s leaders for the warm welcome to his delegation.
The Vice Mayor of Mimasaka city shared information and results of cooperation with the UD over the past time, especially the contributions of the UD’s students during the intership in Mimasaka.
In the atmosphere of openness and sincerity, the two sides’ leaders shared the goodwill and mutual interests, at the same time discuss orientations to expand partnership between government – university – enterprise in the coming time, including the cooperation model that enables the UD’s students to intern and work in Japan.
