Recently, Jesco Asia Group (Japan) cooperated with the University of Danang (UD) to organize the scholarship conferment for 20 students (5 million VND/each scholarship). On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son - Vice President of the UD hosted the reception with Mr. Matsumoto Toshihiro – Chairman of Jesco Holdings, Japan.

The scholarship conferment ceremony also drew the participation of Mr. Nakazaki Katsufumi - General Director of Jesco Asia Group in Vietnam; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Chung – Branch Manager of Jesco Asia Group in Da Nang; leader representatives of the UD’s functional departments (Office of Administrative Affairs, International Cooperation, Student Affairs), Japan Center and Office of Student Affairs of members universities/affiliated unit.

Speaking at the ceremony, the UD’s Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son acknowledged, appreciated and cordially thanked the leaders of Jesco Asia Group for their interest in supporting and awarding scholarships to UD students, especially in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.

20 students who received scholarships from Jesco Asia Group (Japan) are from member universities and affiliated unit including: University of Science and Technology, University of Technology and Education, and UD’s Campus in Kon Tum.

According to Mr. Matsumoto Toshihiro - Chairman of Jesco Holdings (Japan), the group always appreciates and wishes to continue to develop a close cooperation with the UD which has been established and fostered during the past 15 years. This is also the fifth year Jesco Asia Group has awarded scholarships to the UD’s students.
