On April 28, 2025, Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son - Vice President of the University of Danang (UD) hosted a meeting and working session with Ms. Mizonova Maria Georgievna - Consul General of the Russian Federation in Da Nang city.

During the meeting, the leaders of both sides exchanged and shared information regarding mutual needs, potentials, trends, and opportunities for cooperation in the fields of education and training, scientific research, as well as cultural and language exchange.

Both parties highly appreciated the role and international prestige of UD, and agreed on the orientation to strengthen collaboration, especially in promoting student and academic exchanges. This would create opportunities for UD students and lecturers to study and conduct research at universities and research institutes in the Russian Federation.

The two sides expressed their interest in fostering further cultural and friendship exchanges between the two countries.

In the near future, School of Medicine and Pharmacy - the University of Danang and Yaroslavl State Medical University are expected to cooperate in sending and receiving students for short-term internships and academic exchanges, with support and facilitation from the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Da Nang city.
