Conference on Internationalization & Virtual Exchange under the Erasmus+ Harmony Project

 

On March 22nd and 23rd, 2022, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son-Vice President of the University of Danang (UD) and leaders of Department of International Cooperation attended the conference themed Internationalization & Virtual Exchange under the framework of Erasmus+ Harmony Project.

This is a hybrid event host by Narsee Monjee University of Management Studies (India) with more than 11 universities and research institutes including UD; University of  Zaragoza (Spain); Varna University of Management (Bulgaria); Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania); European Policy Development and Research Institute (EPDRI); Daffodil International University, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh; University of Hyderabad, Narsee Monjee University of Management Studies (India); Vellore Institute of Technology and Quang Binh University. The Erasmus+ Harmony Project Network is a project for Asian countries and the European Union under the framework of Erasmus+ program

Assoc. Prof. Le Quang Son – UD Vice President gave the conference  presentation

At the conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son had a presentation  themed "Internationalization of higher education at UD: Experiences and challenges" with the aim of sharing good practice, concerns and emphasizing the challenges which internationalization process of higher education in Vietnam in general and the practical experience of UD in particular were being encountered.

Vice President Le Quang Son affirmed the UD’s outstanding achievements and imprints with its role and position as a key national university, a leading center for training, scientific research and international cooperation of Vietnam. UD always makes efforts and pioneers to participate and actively contribute in the process of connection and comprehensive Eurasian integration in fields of training, quality accreditation, scientific research, innovation and university governance.

In order to overcome the global challenges caused by the Covid-19 pandemic affecting the socio-economic, education and training, higher education, the senior representative of UD had proposed initiatives to promote the international cooperation relationship via projects such as Erasmus+ to share experiences, develop the capacity of networks among Eurasian universities, create opportunities to constantly innovate the university governance ,and develop technology application and digital transformation in the 4.0 era.

Within the framework of the workshop, the delegates learnt valuable experience and good practices  from conference’s speakers.

 “Internationalization of higher education is not only an opportunity to apply international experience to solve specific problems, improve university  identity , but also a premise to promote the partnership, enlarge Network in the Erasmus+ to enhance connectivity and integration in the current globalized context.
