A student of VN-UK Institute for Research and Executive Education – The University of Danang received the Erasmus Mundus’s full master scholarship

Recently, Ngo Le Huy Hien, last year student in Computer Science and Engineering of Vietnam – UK Institute for Research and Executive Education (VNUK) – The University of Danang (UD) received the offers of 3 full master-level scholarships within the framework of the Erasmus Mundus (EM) program.

Specifically, the above-mentioned master scholarships include: GENIAL (Green Networking and Cloud Computing) offering students options to study in the UK, France, Sweden and 3 other countries with a total value of VND 1.3 billion; IMLEX (Imaging and Light in Extended Reality) bringing to scholarship recipients the opportunities to study in Finland, France, Japan and another elective country, with a total value of VND 1.2 billion; JEMARO (Advanced Robotics) allowing students to choose to study in France, Italy, Poland, Japan with a total value of VND 1.25 billion.

Especially, the EM program allows each applicant to apply for up to 3 courses, and Hien successfully got full scholarships for 3 courses that he had applied for.

As a hard-working and outstanding student who got full scholarship of VNUK - Tate & Lyle during his 4 years of undergraduate study, Hien was exempt from tuition fees and received annual stipend, which helped him have a “solid financial assistance”.

According to Hien, VNUK is an environment that helps its students to develop and perfect themselves “step by step”. The students should set their own strategic roadmap that requires their efforts and perseverance to overcome milestones in their study.

Sharing about the tips on receiving the prestigious scholarship right at the first time of application, Hien said: “I strategically prepared my application, polished my essays with sincerity and passion, along with the support of my mentor and a bit of luck”.

“4 years of college is the most beautiful time. We all have strengths and weaknesses. The important thing is how we make the most of our strengths and realize our limitations to improve ourselves continuously”, he shared.
