The University of Danang regards the rate of graduates having jobs as criterion and measurement of training quality and prestige

Ensuring the high rate of graduates having jobs which are suitable to their trained professions is a constant goal that the University of Danang (UD) has always attached importance to, thereby meeting the expectations of learners as well as the demand for high quality human resources of enterprises and the community. This is the reason why the UD is always selected and trusted through every admission season.

The UD’s member and affiliated units have focused on surveying and evaluating the rate of graduates having jobs, which is one of the criteria for educational quality assurance. The UD’s achievement in this aspect over recent years (averagely over 90% of students have jobs within 6-12 months since their graduation) has contributed to affirming the prestige and training quality of the university.

According to the UD’s member and affiliated units’ thresholds of admission registration based on the results of the high school graduation examination in 2020, the increase of admission floor score (an average increase of 1-3 points compared to 2019) showed that the admission quality continues to be considered.

This year, the UD continues to have many methods of admission (direct admission, academic records review, results of high school graduation examination, and results of the capacity assessment) which provided many choices for candidates.

The admission schemes of the UD and publicized rate of graduates having jobs showed the responsibility of the university to the society by helping candidates, parents to gain insights into job market development and workforce trend and then choose appropriate professions. The students are also encouraged to have the right motivation and attitude; actively accummulate knowledge, skills to achieve the university’s graduation standards.

The UD’s member and affiliated units have strongly changed from the goal of providing knowledge to build capacity, promote creative thinking and proactive methods as well as help students to adapt to the progresses of the 4th Industrial Revolution and the digital age.
